We are delighted to announce that recently our Chocolate Ice Cream won a Bronze Medal in the Chocolate Class at The National Ice Cream Competition, organised by the Ice Cream Alliance. This builds on the success of 2015 where Daresbury Dairy Ice Cream was awarded the Best Newcomer.
This was judged on the basis of a blind tasting competition and we are very proud to have been awarded 3rd place. It benchmarks us alongside some of the finest Ice Cream producers in the Country. We have always focused on using the finest ingredients to produce a high quality Ice Cream and we are very pleased we have been recognised for this. Our Chocolate Ice Cream is one of the most popular flavours we sell in our shop.
In addition to the Chocolate Award, we also received a Special Diploma for our Chocomalt flavour Ice Cream, and Diplomas for our Peanut Butter Ice Cream and Orange Sorbet.
We will be open Thursday to Monday over the Easter Weekend 12-5pm so make sure you pop in and try some of our delicious Hot Cross Bun ice cream! We will then be open Thursday to Sunday and bank holidays 12-5pm through March and April.
From May we will be open Tuesday to Sunday and bank holidays 12-6pm until the End of September! We will still be open throughout the Autumn but our opening times will reduce.
Our Christmas Tasting weekend 2015 will be on Saturday and Sunday the 14th & 15th November 12-5pm, pop along to sample our Christmas flavours and get your orders in for our Ice cream Cakes!
From 1st May 2015 we will be opening longer hours for the Summer Season. Our new opening hours are Tuesdays to Sundays & Bank Holidays 12-6pm. We’ve got lots of new fruity flavours for you to try including Lemon Cheesecake and Coconut!
We are looking forward to the long Easter Weekend and we hope you are too! We are delighted to announce that we have recently won the Newcomer title at the 2015 National Ice Cream Alliance Awards. We are very proud to have won this Award especially as it was based on the taste of our Ice Cream. We are also very pleased that this story has been covered in many of the local papers including The Runcorn & Widnes World, The Warrington Guardian and the South Warrington News.
Did you know, we can cater for a wide variety of Food Allergies & Intolerances? For example, many of our Ice Creams are Gluten Free and we also produce Dairy Free Sorbets. If you have a specific Food Allergy or Intolerance, please contact us (either on 07856 091 601 or via our Contact Us Page) and we will be happy to advise you on which of our products are suitable. Alternatively you can come into our shop at the farm and we will be happy to advise you there. All our take home packs are also fully labelled with all allergy information.
We are looking forward to this weekend as we open again for the new Season (Saturday 7th February!) We have some fabulous flavours in development for this year. We are starting with Rhubarb Crumble & Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream and a deliciously refreshing Pink Lemonade Sorbet alongside our usual favourites!
